Follow these steps:

  1. Open Mail.
  2. From the Mail menu, select Add Account.
    3. Result: The Add Account screen will show.
  3. In the Full Name, enter your name, or a display name you would prefer.
  4. In the Email Address field enter your email address (i.e. youremail@bendbroadband.com)
  5. In the Password field, enter your full password.
  6. Click Continue.
    7. Result: The Incoming Mail Server screen will show.
  7. In the Description field, enter BendBroadband. (i.e. Can be different, is only used to identify the email in Mail)
  8. In the Incoming mail server field, enter the server name as follows:
    9. If your email address ends with:
    @bendbroadband.com then use pop-server.bendbroadband.com.
    @bendcable.com then use pop-server.bendcable.com
  9. For the User Name field enter your full email address.
  10. In the Password field, enter your full password.
  11. Click Continue.
    12. Result: The Outgoing Mail Server screen will show.
  12. In the Outgoing mail server field, enter the server name as follows:
    13. If your email address ends with:
    @bendbroadband.com then use smtp-server.bendbroadband.com.
    @bendcable.com then use smtp-server.bendcable.com
  13. Check the Use Authentication box, then enter the User Name and Password.
  14. Click Continue.
    15. Result: The Account Summary screen will show.
  15. Review the Account Summary section.
  16. Click Create.
    17. All steps complete.
